Yarra Contracting delivered critical rail infrastructure construction works at Deer Park Station along Mt Derrimut Road in Melbourne, forming part of the Victorian Government’s Level Crossing Removal Project under the Western Program Alliance (WPA).
The upgrade aimed to improve safety, accessibility, and commuter flow across one of Melbourne’s key transport corridors while supporting the long-term growth of the metropolitan rail network.
Working within a live rail environment and active commuter precinct, the project required strict safety controls, carefully staged construction, and detailed planning to ensure minimal disruption to daily rail operations and public access.
